Jongno is one of my favorite places in Seoul as most of the palaces and traditional houses are located in this area and gives you a good picture of the charm of Korea’s history and culture. One of the neighborhoods you need to visit in this area is Samcheongdong which is located between Gyeongbokgung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace. The long road gives you a certain kind of mix and twist between modern and traditional Seoul. It is also very beautiful during autumn with its line of ginko trees. Art galleries, museums, antique shops and local boutiques adds to the vibe of the place.
We stayed in Jongno area during out trip so it was just a walking distance to our guesthouse. To get there by train, the nearest station is Anguk, Subway Line 3 or Gyeongbokgung Station.
not so perfect ice cream
Cute Boutiques to shop trendy outfits
I am not sure why my mom and Kyla are far from each other here lol
Lovely mix of modern and traditional
If you are coming from Gyeongbokgung Palace and National Folk Musuem, you can pass on the side towards Samcheongdong
This was 1st week of November so some of the trees are still green
To those who love watching Korean Dramas, Seoul is Romance City right? 🙂
My mom likes to take photos of cakes and pastries
